Bidyanondo Ma O Shishu Hospital
Everyone deserves to be treated with utmost care, and one of the ways to make sure that is achieved is by making sure everyone gets the proper medical treatment.
We have always believed in establishing a better medical care system in Bangladesh and worked for it with utmost priority. Especially, ensuring the right medical care for mothers and children in both rural and urban areas became our primary concern while working on the health issue.
From this concern and priority, SAAF united with Bidyanondo Foundation Ma O Shishu Hospital earlier this year.
We were always keen to collaborate with Bidyanondo Foundation, one of the largest volunteer organizations in Bangladesh. Besides all the other projects and financial assistance-based alliances, for a while, SAAF has been associated with a particular project of Bidyanondo: Bidyanondo Ma O Shishu Hospital.
Operated mainly under individual funding, Bidyanondo’s focus is to support underprivileged people in any natural or man-made disaster.
Considering the present scenario of the health system in Bangladesh Bidyanondo has built a hospital in Chittagong with 40 beds for Child and Maternity Care. All the services are free in this hospital. While the hospital can help treat outdoor and emergency patients (Monthly 6,000), it comes with residential for Covid patients and pregnancy services too.
Right now, general consultancy, dental services and child delivery support are being provided by the hospital.
We always aim to support Bidyanondo in different projects.
Ma O Shishu Hospital is another step of collaboration of SAAF with the foundation to make people's lives better and take the healthcare infrastructure of our nation forward.
